Different properties in Islington have different collections. Choose one of the options below that best describes your building.
We’re working hard to keep recycling and waste services going, but we need your help to stay safe. If you are showing symptoms of the coronavirus or live in a household with someone who is showing symptoms you must follow Government instructions: store personal waste (e.g. used tissues) and disposable cleaning cloths in a disposable rubbish bag, place this into another bag, keep it separate from other waste, and wait 72 hours before putting it in your external bin.
Christmas and New Year collections
Regular household waste and recycling collection services will not be provided on the following dates over the Christmas and New Year period:
- Friday 25 December
- Friday 01 January
If your waste is due to be collected on either of these days, it will be collected on the Saturday instead. Details of our Christmas tree collection and recycling services vary according to the type of home you live in. Please follow the links below.
