In light of the developing situation around Coronavirus, Street Reuse and Recycling Centre will close at 8pm on Tuesday 24 March until further notice. We are working with the North London Waste Authority (NLWA), who manage this facility, to monitor the developing situation and will take the appropriate action to ensure that together we continue to provide an effective waste collection and disposal service to residents, and to ensure the safety of staff. The centre is closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Please note that if you’re bringing a van you must give 24 hours notice.
There is a pedestrian drop off point at the security gate at the Hornsey Street entrance, available during opening hours only.
If you do not have access to transport or the Reuse and Recycling Centre (RRC) drop off point, see TippTapp to agree a price to transport your items to the RRC.
For practical and safety reasons, we cannot accept the following items at the pedestrian drop off point
Waste from businesses, gas bottles, commercial batteries (eg emergency lighting batteries), paint, hazardous waste, tyres, household/garden chemicals, soil, builder’s rubble, large appliances, garden waste, general household rubbish.
