Food waste recycling containers

Houses and converted flats

If you live in a house we'll provide you with: 

  • a small kitchen caddy to store food waste in your kitchen
  • a secure outdoor food waste bin to transfer food waste into every few days.

We provide the same service to some but not all converted flats. 

Estates and blocks of flats 

If you live on an estate or in a block of flats, we'll provide you with: 

  • a small kitchen caddy to store food waste in your kitchen
  • a communal food waste recycling bin to transfer the food waste into.

Request containers or bags

The quickest and easiest way to request containers is by logging into or signing up for a My eAccount 

Compostable liners for your kitchen caddy are available from the local library. 

Flats above shops or other commercial premises

Unfortunately, we can't provide a food waste recycling service if you live in flats above shops.
