Anyone can join Islington libraries, whether you live, work or study in the borough, or are just visiting

You can apply online for your library membership.

You will be contacted by the branch you designate when your membership card is ready to collect. This should take no longer than a couple of days depending on the branch opening hours.

Once you have your card you can borrow and reserve items from any of our libraries.

If you or someone you know has difficulty getting out to a library, you may be interested in using the Home Library Service.

Alternatively, you can complete a membership form in your local library.

For details of the library closest to you, search with your postcode in Your Area or check our leaflet.
