Some library computers are not available

We are replacing all public computers in our libraries during February and March. While we install the new computers, they will not be available on some dates. Check when computers will not be available at your library. Thank you for your patience while we make these improvements.

Help shape our new website

We’re redesigning the council website to make it easier to find support and access council services online.

We want to understand more about your experience so we can make sure our new website works better for you.

Your feedback matters so take our short survey and help us create a better experience for everyone.

Home Library Service

Find out about the Home Library Service, a way of bringing our service to you when you cannot get to your local library.

The Home Library Service can visit you if you live in Islington and find it difficult to get to a library because you:

  • are elderly
  • have a disability or long-term illness
  • are caring for someone.

The Home Library Service can make regular visits and the service is free.

What you can get from the Home Library Service

  • Books (including large print) and talking books
  • Music CDs
  • DVDs.

Many items are available in a range of languages.

Staff will also try to answer any information or reference questions.
