Improvements to the website and search

We’ve made some improvements to our website to make it quicker and easier to find what you need when visiting.

If your child is due to start secondary school, you must apply online.

Pupils in Islington secondary schools achieved stronger results than the national averages at the end of Key Stage 4 (GCSEs and equivalent) in 2022. Islington pupils achieved a higher attainment 8 score (49.9) than national (48.9), and the Islington average score improved by around twice as much as the national average compared to the pre-pandemic results in 2019. Higher proportions of Islington pupils achieved standard passes (grade 4 and above) and strong passes (grade 5 and above) in English and Maths than pupils nationally.
