Who cannot buy or use a resident parking permit
Only Islington residents can buy a resident parking permit, but not all residents can buy one.
You can't buy a parking permit if you are an Islington resident who:
- lives in a car-free property - check if your address is car-free
- owns a vehicle longer than 5 metres or higher than 2.5 metres
- doesn't live in Islington but cares for or looks after someone in the borough and you are not a registered carer - apply for a carers permit instead.
