Double check your parking ticket before paying

We have had some reports of fake parking tickets (PCNs) left on vehicles in Islington and neighbouring boroughs.

If you get a PCN, please check:

  • it has the Islington Council logo, crest and 'for a more equal future' in the top-right on the front
  • the back has instructions on how to pay including the web address islington.gov.uk/pcnpay - if you use this, you will see a green band at the top with our logo
  • the back also tells you how to challenge a PCN
  • it has a detachable slip that says "do not pay the civil enforcement officer"

Our PCNs do not have a QR code that you scan with your phone camera to pay. Do not scan any QR code on a PCN.

Buy a universal business permit

To buy or renew any business permit you need to register your personal, business and vehicle details on our parking system. Once registered, you can log in to your account to buy any new permits or renew them.
