Double check your parking ticket before paying

We have had some reports of fake parking tickets (PCNs) left on vehicles in Islington and neighbouring boroughs.

If you get a PCN, please check:

  • it has the Islington Council logo, crest and 'for a more equal future' in the top-right on the front
  • the back has instructions on how to pay including the web address islington.gov.uk/pcnpay - if you use this you will see you will see a green band at the top with our logo
  • the back also tells you how to challenge a PCN
  • it has a detachable slip that says "do not pay the civil enforcement officer"

Our PCNs do not have a QR code that you scan with your phone camera to pay. Do not scan any QR code on a PCN.

Business parking permits

Apply for a business permit or buy business visitor vouchers in Islington.

If your business is based at premises in Islington, you can apply for a business parking permit. You must be occupying the premises for non-residential purposes, and be registered for business rates.
