Rubbish and recycling
Collections
There will be no service on Monday 25 August, so collections will take place one day later than normal. This includes collections for mixed recycling, food waste, garden waste, and rubbish.

Reuse and Recycling centre

Parking
Check the parking rules for Controlled Parking Zones on bank holidays.
On Monday 25 August, 24-hour offences (for example, double yellow lines, footway, double parking, zig zags, disabled and doctor bays) will be enforced. Moving traffic, bus lanes, and estate parking will also be enforced.
Check vehicle pound opening times during the bank holiday.
Call 020 7527 7624 to report any parking related issues such as illegal parking and abandoned vehicles. This line is open 24 hours a day.

All libraries will be closed on Monday 25 August.

Birth, death, marriage, and citizenship services
Registrar services are closed on Monday 25 August.
An on-call registrar will be available on bank holidays, Saturdays and Sundays between 9.30am and 12.30pm. They are available for registering deaths and issuing burial certificates for funerals taking place within 24 hours.
