Easter bank holiday services 2026
There will be changes to some services in April due to the Easter bank holidays on Friday 3 April and Monday 6 April.
Rubbish and recycling
Between Friday 3 April and Friday 10 April, your collection day will be different to normal. Collections include mixed recycling, food waste, garden waste and rubbish.

Customer service centre
Access Islington hubs and the customer service line (020 7527 2000) will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 2 April until 9am on Tuesday 7 April.

Repairs
The non-emergency repairs phone line (020 7527 5400) will be closed at the following times:
- from 8pm on Thursday 2 April until 8am on Saturday 4 April
- from 12noon on Saturday 4 April until 8am on Tuesday 7 April
The line will be open from 8am to 12noon on Saturday 4 April only.
You can still report non-emergency repairs online at anytime.
Our emergency repairs service is open 24-hours a day, outside of these hours.

Nuisance or abandoned vehicles
Call 020 7527 7624 to report any parking related issues such as illegal parking and abandoned vehicles. This line is open 24 hours a day.

An on-call registrar is available on Friday 3 April, Saturday 4 April, Sunday 5 April and Monday 6 April between 9.30am and 12.30pm. They are available for registering deaths and issuing burial certificates for funerals taking place within 24 hours. Please call 020 7527 2000 during these hours to be connected to the on-call registrar.
Reporting anti-social behaviour
You can continue to report anti-social behaviour (ASB) the same way as normal – report ASB with the online form.

All parks and parks facilities will be open to the public as normal.
