You must be registered to vote before you can vote in person, by post or proxy. If you are not, you can register to vote on GOV.UK.
What you need to bring to a polling station to vote
You must bring one original document of photo ID, such as a driving licence or a voter authority certificate (VAC). You cannot use a photocopy or digital version.

Find your polling station
You will get a polling card in the post with the address of your polling station on it. You do not need to bring this with you.
You can also use your post code to find it online.
