Following the government roadmap out of lockdown, we are planning to reopen in stages, subject to the latest restrictions.

For the time being this library remains closed.

From 12 April you will be able to browse and choose items at ArchwayCentralFinsburyN4 or West Library. A limited number of public PCs will be available to book for essential use only.

Local History will also be open for pre-booked appointments only. Please email

Access times at these sites will be: 

Monday to Friday: 11am - 4pm

Saturday: 11am - 5pm. 

We plan to reopen all 10 Libraries from 26 April.

You can find a wide range of eBooks, eAudiobooks, Newspapers and Magazines online, free to Islington Library members, on our Libraries, heritage and arts webpages.
