Good Neighbourhood policy

This policy sets out our approach to setting expectations and managing neighbour relationships in our estates, blocks, and street properties. It is for tenants and residents.

The aim of the Good Neighbourhood policy is to:

  • Ensure tenants have quiet enjoyment of their homes and live in a safe, clean, and secure environment that they can take pride in.
  • Make sure residents are aware of and understand their responsibilities under their tenancy or lease conditions, both for their own property and the wider neighborhood.
  • Emphasise the shared effort required from both residents and Islington Council to create and maintain good neighborhoods.
