Sex establishments

There are three types of sex establishments which generally require licensing in Islington - sex shops, sex cinemas and sexual entertainment venues which include, for example, lap dancing premises and premises providing other forms of live performance or live displays of nudity.

Please note, generally cinemas do not require to be licensed as sex cinemas if operating in accordance with an authorisation under the Licensing Act 2003.
