When you have arrived in the UK

Immigration documents you need

All new Ukrainian arrivals must apply for a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) when in the UK.

A new arrival may only have a Permission to Travel letter, which gives them the right to remain in the UK for six months. The BRP means you have a three-year sponsor. The Government's Home Office processes and issues BRPs. Apply via the GOV.UK website.
