Bank holiday service changes: Monday 31 August

Find out about changes to our services due to the bank holiday. There is no rubbish or recycling collection on Monday 31 August so collections will be a day later than usual.

Where to find public toilets in Islington and how to report a problem.

Find a public toilet

Find automated, accessible toilets that are open 24 hours at:

  • Holloway Road, at the junction with Camden Road, N7 ORN
  • Seven Sisters Road, at the junction with Fonthill Road, N4 3GG
  • Highbury Crescent, near Highbury Pool, N5 1RN
  • Highbury Fields, next to the tennis courts near Highbury Grove
  • Newington Green, N16 9PX
  • Islington Green, Essex Road, N1 8DU
  • City Road, at the junction with Central Street, EC1V 8AY

There is also an accessible toilet with an attendant at Chapel Market.

Changing Places toilets

Changing Places toilets are larger toilets with special equipment, like hoists and adult-sized changing benches.

Find Changing Places toilets at:

  • Sobell Leisure Centre, N7 7NY
  • Brickworks Community Centre, N4 4BY
  • 222 Upper Street, N1 1XR
