Double check your parking ticket before paying

We have had some reports of fake parking tickets (PCNs) left on vehicles in Islington and neighbouring boroughs.

If you get a PCN, please check:

it has the Islington Council logo, crest and 'for a more equal future' in the top-right on the front

the back has instructions on how to pay including the web address islington.gov.uk/pcnpay - if you use this, you will see a green band at the top with our logo

the back also tells you how to challenge a PCN

it has a detachable slip that says "do not pay the civil enforcement officer"

Our PCNs do not have a QR code that you scan with your phone camera to pay. Do not scan any QR code on a PCN.

I will indemnify the London Borough of Islington any loss, financial or otherwise, including any costs the authority may suffer or incur in the event of fraud, theft or irregularity if I am proven to be party to such an act. The authority may also take legal action as appropriate.
