Elections for the next Mayor of London and London Assembly members, as well as the by-election for Hillrise ward, will take place on Thursday 2 May. Membership for carers, foster carers and childminders

Our carer's ticket gives extra loans and privileges to any registered carers, foster carers or childminders.

What does the ticket entitle me to?

This ticket is in addition to your own personal library ticket and it entitles you to the free loan of the following:

  • 20 books and/or audio books - 6-week loan and no fines
  • 2 DVDs on an overnight or a weekly loan - standard overdue charge applies
  • 2 Music CDs - 3-week loan - standard overdue charge applies

How do I apply for a ticket?

You can ask for this ticket at any of our branches and if you have proof of your status it will be given to you straight away.

This proof may be a letter from the Islington Carers Hub, or documentation from Islington council, or the Carers Emergency Card, or documentation from another borough if you are registered with them but live in Islington. It may also be identification from OFSTED for childminders.
