Have your say on our early ideas for the Jean Stokes Community Centre

Start date 10 November 2020
End date 01 February 2021

We would like to discuss our ideas for improving the Jean Stokes Community Centre with you.

We want to ensure that this exciting new project reflects the needs and hopes of local people and would like to involve as many of you as possible. Local residents have already been involved in helping to recruit the architects, Public Works Group, who will be taking the community centre forward with us. We are also meeting with and hearing from current users of the space and their input will be central to the plans we make.

This project is part of the council’s ‘We are Cally’ programme to create a fairer future for the Cally.

Please join us to learn more about our proposals for making the Jean Stokes Community Centre brighter, easier to get around and usable by estate residents and the wider community. Our architects are now using your feedback to work up their plans for the centre.

We’d like to discuss options for the design, and for the kinds of facilities you think would work best for the local community and volunteer groups based on the Bemerton and in the local area.

If you cannot attend this online sessions you can share your ideas through an online questionnaire and we will post updates on resident feedback in the 'Past events' section on this page after each session.
