Markets

Islington is known for its diverse range of outdoor trading, street food vendors and speciality markets.

Whether you are a customer, an existing trader or you want to find out more about running a stall, we have information to help you.

Do you have an idea for a pop-up market or event that you would like to be hosted at Chapel Market? The council is happy to accept proposals for self-funded pop-up markets or events that will animate the market and add value to the community. Please send your proposal to the markets development officer at: Parris.Langridge@islington.gov.uk.

Proposals should include details on what will be sold at the market, how many stalls are planned to be to included, details of any other activities that would take place and an overview of the business model including how the market would be financed and promoted.

You can also find out more about our markets on the Islington Life website
