Designating a new site is a legal process we must follow before a licence can be issued. At present the non-refundable fee for this process is £1,025 and it takes a minimum of six months to complete.
Applications are subject to a full and comprehensive consultation. We consult local residents, businesses and other agencies including Transport for London and the police.
Once the consultation process is complete, the proposal then goes to the licensing regulatory committee hearing for a final decision.
