Complying with your permit

How to comply with your dry cleaning permit.

You are required to comply with the terms of your permit, for example, using less than one litre of perc for every 80kg of clothes cleaned.

You need to record the weight of each load you complete, along with the amount of solvent used, in weekly, monthly and annual inventory sheets and submit these to us.

These inventory sheets can be downloaded from 'Useful documents' below.

All documents should be submitted to us in January for the previous year’s operation of the business. You must also include a waste consignment note for the year from authorised hazardous waste handler.

Please note, continuous non-compliance of the permitting regulations can result in prosecution and withdrawal of your permit.
