Section 30 applications

A Section 30 application is made in respect of special and temporary buildings covered under the London Building Acts (Amendment) Act 1939, and should be for short or long life structures or ‘untypical’ independent structures, such as marquee for a public event; inflatable structures; free standing wind turbine; free-standing walls or fences exceeding six feet in height; free-standing chimneys and masts; lighting towers; elevated unroofed grandstands at sports grounds. An application form and guide to supporting document/information requirements are available for download below. The correct fee must accompany this application.
