Double check your parking ticket before paying

We have had some reports of fake parking tickets (PCNs) left on vehicles in Islington and neighbouring boroughs.

If you get a PCN, please check:

  • it has the Islington Council logo, crest and 'for a more equal future' in the top-right on the front
  • the back has instructions on how to pay including the web address islington.gov.uk/pcnpay - if you use this you will see you will see a green band at the top with our logo
  • the back also tells you how to challenge a PCN
  • it has a detachable slip that says "do not pay the civil enforcement officer"

Our PCNs do not have a QR code that you scan with your phone camera to pay. Do not scan any QR code on a PCN.

Report a nuisance or abandoned vehicle

Let us know if a vehicle is blocking your way, or is dangerously or illegally parked.

If a vehicle is blocking a road or pavement, or is parked in a dangerous way, call our enforcement hotline on 020 7527 7624. It is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

If the vehicle is causing a different problem or in a certain place, you may have to report it another way. Use the options to find out how to report the vehicle.
