Changes to customer accounts

We're improving our online services so that it's easier for everyone to access the services they need. To do this, we've introduced a new customer account called My Islington.

What is My Islington

My Islington is a new customer account where you can request a range of council services in one place and track their progress. It has replaced My eAccount which has now closed.

What you can do in My Islington 

  • Check your council tax balance and next payment date
  • Switch to paperless council tax billing
  • Report problems with rubbish, recycling and street cleaning
  • Manage your housing tenancy such as tracking repairs and rent payments
  • Report anti-social behaviour or noise and track your report  

How to register for My Islington

You can register for My Islington now.

See your council tax details

After you have registered, go to 'My council tax' and follow the on-screen instructions to add your council tax account. While you’re there, switch to paperless billing to start receiving email notifications when you have new bills instead of bills in the post.

Manage your housing tenancy

After you have registered, go to the My Islington home page and follow the instructions at the top of the screen.
