Islington Local History Centre will be reopening from 1 September and we are pleased to announce that we are now taking limited appointments at email@example.com. Opening hours will also be limited: 11am-1pm, 2-4pm, Monday – Friday.
Due to the current and ongoing situation with Covid-19, alterations have been made to our service to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. Some service provision will be limited and there may be no access to certain archival material. In addition:
A maximum of two appointments a day (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) is being permitted, with a maximum of two people of the same household allowed to attend an appointment
Please bring your own paper and pencils, as we will be unable to make provisions for public use. Please note that pens cannot be used in the archive
Wearing a mask during your visit is mandatory (except where proven exemption can be presented)
All visitors will be asked to use the hand sanitiser provided upon entry to the building. All visitors are expected to adhere to social-distancing guidelines
Advanced booking is essential. Please do not arrive without a pre-arranged appointment
We apologise for any inconvenience that the disruption to the service has caused and thank you for your understanding and patience.
