How to book an appointment, where to find us and our opening hours

Islington Local History Centre remains closed and is working on plans for researchers to make personal appointments towards the beginning of September 2020, with visitor and staff safety being our top priority.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding while we organise a safe way for visitors to return and access our collections. 


The Local History Centre is open by appointment only (see available times below). To make an appointment or enquire about our collections, please email local.history@islington.gov.uk or call 020 7527 7988.

Sunday  Closed
Public holidays  Closed 

Special closures: so that the centre may facilitate special events, educational activities, stocktaking closure weeks, it may be closed on other days. Please check in advance for more information.
