Jobs and careers

Islington Anchor Institutions Network

Ten of Islington's biggest organisations have joined together to form this network and encourage locals to find work with them.

Here at Islington Council, we would like to see more Islington residents applying for jobs with us. We’re not alone in this.

Ten other large organisations in Islington have come together to form the Islington Anchor Institutions Network. They want to see more applications from people who live in Islington.

The job sites of these businesses are listed below. As well as looking at jobs in the council, check out their job vacancies too.

Local procurement and green ambitions

As well as supporting the employment of local residents, the Islington Anchor Institutions Network wants to support more local businesses by procuring services locally. The network members are also working together to reduce their carbon emissions.
