Pay for contaminated land search

If you are buying or selling a property, you can you use this form to search the records we hold.

Basic searches are £100+VAT (£120).

Standard searches are £150+VAT (£180). These cover standard contaminated land issues such as:

• known sites of contaminated land on or adjoining the property
• known processes of contaminative potential on the site or adjoining premises.
• location of any nearby private water supplies 
• location of landfill sites
• nearby Part A processes controlled under the Environmental Protection Act 1990
• nearby Part B processes controlled under the Environmental Protection Act 1990
• complaints about environmental issues 

Major contaminated land searches are £400+VAT (£480).
