Proposed 'pay by phone' parking bay changes in Prebend Street

This consultation has ended

Start date 26 October 2022
End date 16 November 2022

Islington council is proposing to amend the existing 'pay by phone' parking space in Prebend Street.

The proposal is to split the existing four spaces of 'pay by phone' parking bays into two spaces for 'pay by phone' and two spaces for business permit holders only parking.

The proposal is being made because businesses on New North Road only have ready access to part of Prebend Street and Coleman Fields up to the road closure.  Traders asked for business permit parking nearer and more easily accessible by vehicle from New North Road to help with the operation of their business. The existing pay by phone parking place was identified for this proposal since it would not affect the level of resident parking spaces in the area.
