Fire at Reuse and Recycling Centre, Hornsey Road - Monday 22 June

There is a fire at the Islington Reuse and Recycling Centre on 40 Hornsey Street, N7 8HU.

The building has been safely evacuated, and the fire brigade is there.

Please avoid the area while emergency services are dealing with the incident.

Baring Street double yellow lines extension

The council is proposing to reduce a resident parking space near the junction with New North Road by 4 metres and extend of double yellow lines. This is intended to allow more space for buses to manouvre around a traffic island.
