Chapel Market Traffic Management Order consultation

This consultation has ended

Start date 01 December 2022
End date 25 January 2023
Since May 2021, a temporary traffic management order has been in place on Chapel Market extending the hours during which traffic is prohibited from entering the street on market days. It has worked well, making the market a safer, more pleasant shopping environment. The council proposes to make these extended hours permanent and seeks the opinion of traders, local people and other local stakeholders.
