Insurance companies and solicitors

If you are an insurance company or solicitor requesting CCTV in relation to an accident, check to see if we have a camera in the locality by clicking on 'view CCTV' link.

If we do, email the CCTV Manager to request a search.

You must:
  • give an accurate location of the incident to the nearest junction
  • supply the make, type and colour of the vehicle(s) involved
  • give as much detail as possible of the incident (if not an RTC)

If CCTV footage is found and required, you will get a unique reference number, which must be quoted in your correspondence.

If CCTV is found and DVD is required, there will be a charge of £50 for one camera's footage and £65 for two cameras.  Please send a cheque/postal order made payable to 'Islington Council' and letter of request to the CCTV Manager, 222 Upper Street N1 1XR.
