How to report ASB - During office hours
You should contact your housing provider Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm to avoid delays in investigating your complaint.
If your report is about an Islington Council Property, please contact Home and Communities or by phone 0207 527 5300. For more information please visit Homes and Communities webpages.
Reports about Housing Association properties should be made directly to the relevant Housing Association during the day. We will work with them if they are unable to resolve the issue.
For all other issues during the day, please contact the ASB Reporting Line. Reporting online is the quickest and most convenient way to report your concerns to us. Alternatively you can also call us on 0207 527 7272.
How to report ASB - at all other times
The Out of Hours Response Service is available Sunday to Thursday nights from 4pm to 2am, and Friday and Saturday nights from 5pm to 4am.
If noise or ASB is taking place during these times, please contact the ASB Reporting Line. Reporting noise or other types of ASB online is the quickest and most convenient way to report your concerns, alternatively you can also call us on 0207 527 7272 (but please note you may experience longer call waiting times during busy periods).
It is best if you provide a contact phone number that officers can reach you on as this may help them to investigate, they can also update you about what they find when they visit. It may also be necessary to call you for further details if there are any safeguarding concerns. Please note that if you are reporting a noise problem officers will not visit if they are unable to speak to you first.
Officers will attend to witness the incident, try to identify the people responsible and do what they can to resolve it there and then. Details of your report and the officers findings will be shared with the relevant team or agency that are responsible for managing your case the next working day. If your report is about an Islington Council or Housing Association managed property, details will be passed to them so they can contact you with any case updates.
Any reports made outside of the service operating times will be passed on to the department or organisation with responsibility for managing your case the next working day. If your report is about an Islington Council or Housing Association managed property, your report will be passed to them so they can contact you back and let you know how they can help.
