Special treatments occasional licence

There is a one-off fee of £306.00 for this licence and you must allow a minimum of 28 days for us to process your application.

Apply

You must be 18 years or over and you need to supply:

• a completed application form – you can download it from ‘Useful documents’ below
• a plan of the premises
• a current valid passport or driving licence photo ID*
• proof of residential address*
• information on any unspent criminal conviction*
• the correct fee.

*Only applicable if you are applying as an individual.

Please note, we no longer accept cheques or cash. 

Once we receive the full application, we will email you a payment link to pay the relevant fee online.

After you apply

You need to advertise your application by displaying a notice on the premises for 28 days. You can download this form from ‘Useful documents’. 

If there are no objections to the application, the licence will be granted once the 28 day application period has passed. If there are objections, they will be referred to the council licensing committee to make a decision whether or not to grant the licence. You will be given at least two weeks’ notice if your application is being referred. 

You can appeal against the licensing committee's decision not to grant a licence within 21 days of being notified of their decision. Appeals can be made to the local magistrates' court.
