How to comment or complain about licensed premises
You can comment on current licence applications for new premises, variations to existing premises or on formal reviews. You must comment in line with our licensing objectives.

Details of current licence applications are available from the online licensing register. We notify all residents within 50m of premises when a new licence or variation application is made.
Notice of current review applications are shown in the useful documents section below.
Any comments must be received by the legal deadline, which is within 28 days of the application being made. This deadline is displayed on the licensing register with the application details and on the public notice displayed at the premises.

Should you have any concerns about licensing matters in Islington you are advised to put these in writing to our Licensing Service. We will either investigate your complaint directly or refer you to the most appropriate agency.
