Local council elections - Polling day tomorrow (Thursday 7 May)

Here’s what you need to know to vote in person on Thursday 7 May.

  • Polling stations are open 7am to 10pm - check your poll card or the 'Where do I vote?' website for yours
  • Bring photo ID - you cannot vote without an accepted form of ID
  • You do not need your poll card - if you are registered, you can vote
  • All our polling stations are wheelchair accessible and staff are there to help
  • If you have a disability, let us know now if you need anything else to help you vote at your polling station

Sustainability audit for businesses

Apply for a free audit to find out how you can reduce costs and protect the environment.

What you can get

The audit will identify ways to reduce your organisation's energy use and save money.

This involves looking at your heating and cooling systems, energy and water usage, waste, transport, supply chains and any other operational activities that have an environmental impact.

Following a visit to your site, you will receive a report with recommendations on possible improvements and signposting you to assistance and funding.

Who it's for

Open to all organisations (businesses and nonprofits) in the borough.

How to apply

You can apply online. You'll be asked to provide the following information:

  • details about your business
  • what energy-saving measures you're interested in
