Payments and online forms unavailable from 7pm until 7:30pm

On Monday 16 February you will not be able to submit forms or make payments between 7pm and 7:30pm. We will be doing essential maintenance on our website.

This means you will not be able to do things like pay or apply for parking permits, parking tickets (PCNs), council tax and rent online or call the automated payment line (020 7527 8000).

We are very sorry about this. If you need to make a payment or do something else online, please try a different day or time.

Leaving the scheme

If you're a Ukrainian refugee in Islington and need to move from your host arrangement, here's how to find a new home.

We encourage hosts and guests to continue their hosting arrangement for as long as possible.

Ending your hosting arrangement

If your hosting arrangement is coming to an end, both sponsor and guest need to inform the Refugee and Migrant service the end date of the hosting arrangement, at least two months in advance. To do this, email the Refugee and Migrant service at resettlement@islington.gov.uk.

For Ukrainian nationals

Your permission to stay in the UK is not dependent on staying with your host and you are welcome to move out to another property or ask for help from council services.

If you cannot continue living with your sponsor, your sponsor must give you a reasonable notice period of when they expect you to move out. Government guidance says that sponsors should give their guests at least two months' notice. The notice is so that you have enough time to find another place to live.

If your hosting arrangement ends, we can help you find your own private rented accommodation.

Moving into private rented accommodation offers you the most choice in terms of cost, space, and any other requirements you may have and it will usually be the best option as a next step if you need to move off the scheme.
