Recycling champions

Love recycling? Why not become a Recycling Champion?

Take action with your community to increase recycling and help fight climate change.

Being a recycling champion is all about encouraging your neighbours, friends, family and colleagues to reduce, reuse and recycle.

It’s a great way to meet new people, make a positive contribution to your community and even learn new skills.

You'll get to team-up with other people whose enthusiasm can help people understand of the importance of recycling and broader environmental issues.

You don’t need any previous knowledge or experience, although you do need to be over 18 years old, living or working in Islington and the council will offer you and the other volunteer champions training and support.

If you’re interested please email recyclingchampions@islington.gov.uk and will invite you to attend a welcome workshop and tell you of upcoming events and other great stuff.
