Bingfield Park

Improvements to Bingfield Park

Bingfield Park is an open space in the Caledonian Ward, close to Crumbles Castle Adventure Play and the Bemerton Estate. The park is underused but has the potential to be a valuable local resource with new facilities for families and residents.

Funding for the project has been obtained from section 106 developer ward contributions to carry out refurbishment works to the park. The designs for the park will be guided by two comprehensive consultation exercises.

An initial consultation exercise took place in January 2019. The responses and feedback have been used by our design team to develop several outline design options. There will be improved, more welcoming entrances and planting, enhanced sports facilities and new play equipment.

We have appointed Breeze landscape architects to design the improvement works and oversee the delivery of the improvements to site.

We are now consulting on proposals to improve Bingfield Park. Please find out more:

These improvements are part of the 'We are Cally' project.
