Everyone wants to continue living in their own home, as independently as possible, but some of us need extra support to do so as we get older. We can help you to access support and advice that is available in Islington.

Age UK Islington

Age UK Islington provides support to older people aged 50+ who live in Islington. They help people to make the most of their later life. Age UK Islington can help you with support and advice for staying in your own home whilst still leading an independent and active life.

Stroke Service – Manor Gardens

Day centres and lunch clubs

One of the fantastic resources available in Islington to help older people who are living at home is our great range of day centres all across the borough.

These centres provide a huge range of activities, from games to hairdressing, and many of them also offer a lunch club where older people can enjoy a social lunch together. To find your nearest day centre, go to the Adults Directory.
