Here is what some recent participants have said about our courses:

Adult cycle skills (book Individual or Group)

"You can't believe how happy I am with these wonderful courses. I thought I will never be able to cycle, but the training was a great help to me."

"My instructor was brilliant! She was patient, professional and incredibly kind in equal parts. There was so much I learned to improve my cycling skills and my confidence. She made it an absolute joy, I left having leant so much and with a big grin on my face. Thank you."

Family cycle skills (book here)

"My son got the most out of this course and the training really helped him. 9-10 years is a good age to do it."

"We found the training helpful and I have changed the way I cycle now. I am a safer cycle rider than before."

Bikeability - Cycling Proficiency in the 21st Century

506ecc55efe1410d8e8929d01d37b8f6Bikeability is the Government-recognised national standard for cycle safety, aiming to improve cycle skills for all levels of cyclist. Cycle skills training is delivered by accredited instructors and there are a range of courses on offer to suit all ages and abilities.

School holiday training (book here)

"My son just completed the cycling course for 6-12 year olds yesterday at Elthorne Park and I just wanted to pass on my congratulations to the instructors. It was a fantastic course and he learned a lot."

"My son finished his beginner bike training today at Rosemary Gardens and I just wanted to say how much he enjoyed it. He is now riding independently and is really pleased with himself! The trainers were excellent and I will definitely recommend the training to other parents."

Primary school training (book Level 1 or Level 2)

"There should be more days of this course because I loved it so much!"

"It was nice to go onto the roads and know you are safe."

Secondary school training (book Level 3)

"Parents who might have worried about their child cycling to school safely were really impressed that the Bikeability sessions included planning a safe route to and from home plus test riding it with the instructor. The school's cycle shelter is filled up these days, not just with student bikes, but also with those of staff who were inspired by just how far some of our students cycle in from!"

Bill Starkey, deputy headteacher, Holloway Secondary School
