Islington Council has obtained an injunction against a resident of Cowdenbeath Path.
The individual first came to attention after reports of anti-social behaviour were received which consisted of the tenant allowing his dog to persistently foul on the balcony without removing or cleaning up the mess. This anti-social behaviour continued for several months with the smell causing a continual nuisance to both neighbours and other residents of the area.
The tenant received a warning as to this unacceptable behaviour and advised that further action would be taken should this behaviour continue. Despite the issue of this warning the anti-social behaviour continued.
Islington Council presented this evidence to the court, were the judge issued an injunction order, which prevents the tenant from allowing his dog unaccompanied out on to the balcony of the estate, for the duration of their tenancy.
