Eviction-Hargrave Mansions

Islington Council has evicted a tenant from Hargrave Mansions because of anti-social behaviour.

The tenant originally came to the attention of the council after reports were made to the area housing office relating to persistent noise nuisance, visitors coming to the property at all hours and acting in an anti-social manner.

An 18 month suspended possession order was granted by the court in February 2015, however after persistent breaches of the order by the tenant an eviction order was sought.

The eviction order was awarded by the court and the tenant was evicted from the property in October 2016

Whilst eviction is a last resort Islington Council will pursue this action where the anti-social behaviour is severe and ongoing, to protect our residents.
