Islington Council has evicted a tenant in breach of their tenancy agreement in Elmore Street.
The tenant cam to attention because of reports of loud music, supply and use of class B drugs at the property as well as an assault on his neighbour.
The Council pursued possession of the property using evidence provided from neighbours, the Police and from the anti-social behaviour officer. The judge agreed that the behaviour of the tenant was in breach of their tenancy agreement and awarded an Outright Possession Order leading to his eviction in April 2014.
Whilst eviction is seen as a last resort Islington Council will look to pursue this course of action where the behaviour is a serious breach of our tenancy agreement.
