Eviction - Bevin Court

Islington Council working with the Police has closed a drugs premises in Bevin Court.

Th property first came to the attention of the Police after residents had made reports of drugs being supplied from the premises.The Police conducted a raid and arrested the occupant of the premises.

A drugs closure order was applied for on 29 October 2013 by officers from Islington's Clerkenwell Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) and granted by a district judge.

Islington Council using the evidence provided by residents and intelligence gathered by Partners were successful in obtaining a full order for possession  in January 2014 against the tenant Mr Hamad Soufe, leading to eviction and recovery of the property on 26 January 2014.
