Issues with parking permit reminders

We apologise that due to technical issues with our parking system, there have been significant delays to reminders for permit renewals being sent out. This has affected email and letter reminders for resident, business and Blue Badge permits.

If you have already renewed your permit and have received a reminder notice, please ignore it and accept our apologies for any confusion.

If you have received a PCN

Whilst it is the permit holder’s responsibility to manage the renewal of their permits, we do appreciate that many permit holders have come to rely on the reminders we have been sending out. 

If you have not received an expected permit reminder and, as a consequence, have been issued with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN), please get in touch to appeal. We will view your first PCN sympathetically with a view to cancelling it.

You should renew expired permits immediately after receiving a PCN. We would also recommend that you check your vehicle frequently for PCNs and in case a bay is suspended. 

Renew a parking permit online

We are working on introducing a new parking system that will improve the permit application process and will include automated reminder emails when your permit is due to expire.

Appealing a PCN 

PCNs can be appealed by emailing islingtonparking@civica-rm.co.uk or by post at Islington Parking Services, PO Box 2019, Pershore, WR10 9BN. Please make sure you include your Penalty Charge Notice number (starting with IZ) and the vehicle’s registration number.
