You can request an item by:
- Printing out and completing a Library Reservation Form. Use the link under Useful Documents at the bottom of this page. Print this out, fill in the details and take it to your library.
- Using the Online Reservation Form - complete the form, giving as much detail as you can about the item you want.
If you reserve a book that is not already in stock and is in print, it will be considered for purchase by our Stock Development Manager.
If you reserve a book that is already in stock through the library catalogue it may take a few days to get to the branch you select to collect it from. You will be contacted by phone or email once it is available
Reservations for items that are in stock in other Islington libraries are free. If we have to get the item from a different library authority or the British Library, you will have to pay a charge of £3.80. You will be asked to confirm that you still wish to go ahead with the reservation before we order it for you.
If you think that there is a particular book, that we should add, or an area of the bookstock that we should add or improve, please let us know by using our stock suggestion form.
Your suggestions will be given serious consideration.
