Elections on 2 May

Elections for the next Mayor of London and London Assembly members, as well as the by-election for Hillrise ward, will take place on Thursday 2 May.

You must now show photo ID when you vote at polling stations. See a full list of accepted forms of ID. You can also apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate in place of photo ID. The deadline to apply for this is 5pm, Wednesday 24 April.

Reserve items not in stock

Request a book, not currently stocked by Islington Libraries, or suggest an area of stock that you think could be improved

You can request an item by using the online reservation form - complete the form, giving as much detail as you can about the item you want.

  • If you reserve a book that is not already in stock and is in print, it will be considered for purchase by our Stock Development Manager.
  • If you reserve a book that is already in stock through the library catalogue it may take a few days to get to the branch you select to collect it from. You will be contacted by phone or email once it is available
  • Reservations for items that are in stock are free. We are unable to obtain items from other library authorities or the British Library at this time.

Stock suggestions

If you think that there is a particular book, that we should add, or an area of the book stock that we should add or improve, please let us know by using our stock suggestion form.

Your suggestions will be given serious consideration.
