The ASB reporting line and out of hours response teams will be operating as usual over the bank holiday period.

Report anti-social behaviour

Birth, death, marriage and citizenship services

We will be closed Monday 27 August.

But there will be a Registrar available from 9.30am to 12.30pm for emergency death registration (same day faith related burials).

Building control

Building control will be closed on Monday 27 August and will reopen on Tuesday 28 August at 9.00am.

To report a dangerous structure please call 020 7527 2000.

Cemeteries: Islington and St Pancras, Trent Park

The cemetery opening hours for Monday 27 August are as follows,

  • Islington & St Pancras Cemetery – Open 9.00am – Close 5.00pm, (vehicles restricted after 4.30pm)
  • Trent Park Cemetery - Open 9.00am – Close 6.30pm 
  • Hampstead Cemetery - Open 10.00am – Close 6.30pm – (vehicles restricted after 3.30pm)

Children's centres

Your children’s centres will be closed Monday 27 August. Normal business hours resume on Tuesday 28 August. 

Customer contact centre

Our call centre and customer centre located at 222 Upper St London N1 1XR will be closed on Monday 27 August. Normal operating hours will resume on Tuesday 28 August at 9.00am.

Housing

The Area Housing offices will be closed. The only service that will be running from Homes and Communities is the Concierge Service which will open as normal and Care taking Service with limited weekend service.

The Housing Needs service at 222 Upper St, London, N1 1XR is closed on Monday 27 August. However our out-of-hours service will be available and is in operation 24 hours a day. You can contact this service on tel number: 0207 527 2000. 


Libraries

Your libraries will be closed on Monday 27 August. Libraries will open again as normal on Tuesday 28 August, with the exception being the following libraries: 

  • Archway
  • South Islington Library
  • Lewis Carroll Library

These libraries open again as normal on Wednesday 29 August. 

 

Open as usual

Parking

We won’t enforce parking charges on Monday 27 August, but we will still deal with vehicles that are blocking the road or stopping the flow of traffic.

 

Parks

Parks are open as normal over the bank holiday period.

Recycling and rubbish collections

There are no changes to the recycling and rubbish collection services over the bank holiday period, Monday 27 August. 

Sport and leisure

Please contact the individual venues run by GLL Better to get opening times.
