Birth, death, marriage and citizenship services
Our office will be closed over the bank holiday period.
Building control will be closed on 28 May and will reopen on 29 May, 9 am.

Cemeteries: Islington and St Pancras, Trent Park
The cemetery opening hours for this coming bank holiday are as follows,
- Islington & St Pancras Cemetery – Open 9am – Close 5pm – Vehicles restricted after 4.30pm with no vehicle access after 5pm
- Trent Park Cemetery - Open 9am – Close 6.30pm
- Hampstead Cemetery - Open 9am – Close 8.30pm – Vehicles restricted after 3.30 with no vehicle access after 4pm.
All children’s centres will be closed over the bank holidays.
Customer contact centre
The Customer Centre will be closed on Monday 28 May and will be back to normal opening hours after that.
The Area Housing offices will be closed. The only service that will be running from Homes and Communities is the Concierge Service which will open as normal and Caretaking Service with limited weekend service.
The Housing Needs service at 222 Upper street is closed during bank holidays. The out of hours service is available to deal with emergencies.
We will be closed on Monday 28 May with normal opening hours on Tuesday. Central library will be open on Sunday 27 May from 1 pm to 5 pm as normal.
We won’t enforce parking charges on Monday, but we will still deal with vehicles that are blocking the road or stopping the flow of traffic.
Parks are open as normal over the bank holiday period.
Recycling and rubbish collections
There will be no changes to the recycling and rubbish collection services over the bank holiday period.
