As part of a study into the local area two designs have been put together to improve the open space that fronts St James’ Church on Prebend Street.
The document below shows the two options and the existing layout. Elements of the two designs can also be interchangeable.
If you like certain aspects of one option, but they do not appear in the other option, please let us know.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any comments you may have on the proposals, for further information, or if you wish to discuss the proposals in more detail.
- To develop design concepts for the open spaces around the Church to encourage use by the local community rather than simply spaces which are crossed on foot or by bike.
- To improve pedestrian movement, in particular from Prebend Street to Popham Street and Britannia Row.
- To provide a high quality setting to St James’ Church, with particular reference to views from Prebend Street.
