We provide a programme of food safety training throughout the year for anyone working or planning to work in the food industry.
Our courses are delivered by Environmental Health Officers who have extensive experience of inspecting and auditing food premises, training food handlers and coaching managers who are new to the food industry.
The Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering covers basic principles of food hygiene and is aimed at people working in businesses where food is stored, prepared or cooked.
At the end of the course there is a test with a series of multiple choice questions. Those who pass will receive an accredited Award in Food Safety in Catering.
This course is for people who have no knowledge or limited knowledge of food safety. The course is suitable for people who are confident about being able to learn through listening to and understanding food safety concepts presented in English.
